Due to recent growth and the continual improvement of CI Scientific within the manufacturing and laboratory industries we are seeking a Quality control officer.
If you are a highly detailed and organised person who is looking to improve a company or flex your wings when it comes to implementing new and improved quality systems? Mathematically are you aware in Excel to create and use formulas and look ups and create macro's as required for improvements. Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science
- Min. 1 year experience in Quality Management/ Quality Control or a similar role (Process management), preferably in a technical environment
- Internal auditor accredited to ISO 9001
- Preferably skills in Six Sigma or related quality management methods
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Proficiency in English verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Processing and reviewing reports for issue.
- Typing up reports from test sheet results.
- Converting reports into pdfs with appropriate letter head or border.
- Liaise with customer to ensure reports requirements are met (e.g. preferred method of report issuing).
- Issuing of reports.
- Assist in document preparation for tender submission.
- Assist in internal and supplier audits.
- Assist in maintaining the calibration of Reference Equipment.
- Demonstrated exposure to document writing such as CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action).
- Customer communication - Providing updates on the progress of any report(s) in question.
- Distribute Customer Surveys formulated by QA and analyze feedback accordingly.
- Maintain and ensure report template in system are up to date.
- Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Assisting in updating FileMaker Program.
